Alpha Lambda Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. Endowment

Since the inception and chartering of the Alpha Lambda (AL) Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated, on the campus of NCCU, our initiates have exemplified sisterhood, service and especially scholarship. The AL Endowment Scholarship Fund, established in 2014, is designed to help provide financial assistance to our NCCU scholars. Members of AL Fall 1983 recognized the financial needs felt throughout the campus and wanted to help. With a desire to move forward with fortitude, they established and fulfilled the requirements for the AL endowment fund. Annually, our endowment awards scholarships from donations made by Sorority members, family members and friends.

As we reach out to you requesting your donations, we ask that you share your day of giving experience on social media. To paraphrase the motto of the United Negro College Fund, “a mind is still a terrible thing to waste.” This mantra engulfs the mission behind our endowment. Continued education is a key factor in life. Please give, so other students can make their collegiate financial ends meet. Thank you in advance for your support.
