I Heart My 1910 Student Scholarship Fund

This scholarship is all about students helping students. Living up to our motto of In Truth & Service is what it is all about. This scholarship is completely funded by donations from the student body and will be awarded to a NCCU student each semester.

As a part of supporting this initiative, The Senior Class Challenge is a fundraising opportunity that was created to give seniors of the graduating Class of 2024 an opportunity to show their Eagle Pride amplified and leave their lasting legacy after graduation.

Every year, NCCU Eagle alumni, faculty, staff and friends make annual gifts to support North Carolina Central University in areas such as academia, programming, events and athletics. The Senior Class Challenge specifically allows students to show their appreciation and give back to their Alma mater in support of the I Heart My 1910 Student Scholarship Fund.

By participating in the Senior Class Challenge, our graduating seniors are helping to provide a scholarship to assist students who would not be able to complete their NCCU degree due to financial constraints. The gifts will go directly to the I Heart My 1910 Student Scholarship, an endowed scholarship created by Institutional Advancement.

To give, students will make a minimum gift of $5.00. As a thank you, each graduating senior donor will receive an NCCU philanthropy cord to wear at commencement as a show of their commitment and support.
